Summary Description:

The Sr. Supervisor, Facilities and Capital Projects is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the facility, including capital project planning and execution, day-to-day repairs and upkeep, and supervision of facility staff. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports the organization's operational needs.
What will your day look like?
• Identify, Plan, develop, and execute capital improvement projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines. on-time, in-budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sanitary sewer and mechanical systems.
• Manage relationships, activities, and applicable contracts with engineers, contractors for maintenance and repair services, and other stakeholders.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance program for facilities.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Fully utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Conduct regular safety inspections, ensuring the facility is operating efficiently and safely.
• Manage facility budgets on coordination with the Maintenance Manager and control expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain up to date documentation of all system installations including wiring diagrams, sequence of operations, and programs.
• Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematic as well as write, review, and revise procedures for maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities
• Organize shutdowns and/or maintenance windows.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Read, understand, and comply with OSHA, cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, lock outs, line breaks, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
What will you bring to the table?
• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field, preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years Supervisory experience preferred
• Proven experience in facilities management, including capital project management and staff supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate difficult and sophisticated ideas clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Near vision sufficient to clearly see electronic displays/monitor, and distance vision sufficient to recognize people in parking lots, warehouse areas, and other large spaces. Must be able to walk several hours each day, inside and outside of the building, up and down stairs, transferring from building to building.
