Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the community, ensuring high standards of property management are maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective property leasing and tenant retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents to enhance community satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services are delivered.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other applicable laws.
- Manage facilities maintenance, coordinating repairs and improvements as necessary.
- Address resident concerns and conflicts promptly and effectively to maintain a harmonious living environment.
- Prepare reports on community performance metrics, occupancy rates, and resident feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles.
- Knowledge of laws related to property leasing, including Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 requirements.
- Excellent negotiation skills for contract discussions with vendors.
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques to resolve disputes amicably.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents and staff.
- Experience in facilities management is preferred.
