Join our dynamic healthcare team in Trenton, NJ, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology. This full-time nursing position offers a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, providing exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Full-Time, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Start Date: November 15, 2024
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
- Level II Position: 8% pay increase with cross-training in Cath Lab and EP
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Two years of critical care experience and/or training within the interventional cardiac setting
- Registered Nurse License in NJ or NLC multi-state
- AHA ACLS, BLS - Healthcare Provider, NRP, and PALS (or must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to meet the health, physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients undergoing radiologic procedures
- Assess patient condition and status, perform physical examinations, and monitor continuously
- Assist physicians during procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and complete related clerical functions
- Educate patients and families about procedures, discharge instructions, and coping mechanisms
- Develop individualized teaching plans and collaborate with case managers for patient care
- Administer medications accurately and document patient records according to standards
- Participate in unit-based chart reviews and performance improvement activities
- Mobilize resources in complex cases and advocate for patient needs
