GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Director, Development.

Position Purpose :
Facilitate corporate development efforts pertaining to ASC growth, physician and practice development, and ancillary expansion in existing and new markets.
Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks :
- Cultivate key practice relationships. Develop and enhance these relationships through practice and physician interaction, visits, educational programs / conference participation, and networking.
- Engage with GI Alliance physicians and our physician groups and existing team members to understand and prioritize potential practice partnerships where GI Alliance can add value and these groups can add value to GI Alliance.
- Evaluate external and internal data to analyze market dynamics, physician practice trends, and competition to inform and prioritize strategies that meet market demand and increase GI Alliance market share through organic growth.
- Participate in business planning sessions, Health and ASC system partnership strategy discussions / opportunities, and collaborate with ASC partners on potential markets of interest.
- Participate in financial analysis, perform site visits as necessary, and provide overviews that assist management team in evaluating growth opportunities.
- Effectively advise GI Alliance leadership and act as an integral part of the development team focusing on the execution of short- and long-term growth strategies.
- Engage with GI Alliance physicians and our physician groups to understand the decision making behind facility selection and other ASC and / or hospital relationships to prioritize and guide development efforts.
- Work with key GI Alliance team members within various functional areas critical to the due diligence and start-up of de novo growth opportunities.
- Establish and coordinate regularly scheduled diligence and progress meetings with key operations, integration, and other team members to move forward opportunities in the development pipeline.
- Coordinate meetings and / or conference calls between targets and external resources working on the company's behalf.
- Handle any other administrative related duties as necessary, including but not limited to scanning and copying documents, preparing meeting and conference call agendas, taking minutes for various meetings, mailing and emailing various documents, etc.
- Read and abide by the company's code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs.
- Report any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company.
- Obtain clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance or related business field and 5 or more years of relevant experience required; Masters Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE : 4 or more years of prior healthcare development, ASC development, or healthcare experience; preferably familiar with sub-specialty medicine and physician services; Financial acumen and understanding of budgeting and forecasting growth; Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel to meet with physicians and our practices.
Performance Requirements :
Equipment Operated : Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment : Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation, stooping and bending to files and supplies, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally work environment may be very stressful.
Mental / Physical Requirements : Normal office environment. May view computer screens for long periods of time. Occasional evening or weekend work.
