We are looking for TWO VERY compassionate and reliable CAREGIVERS to join our team. Caregiver we are hiring for the family will care for:
Client Josh. He is in 20's and enjoys playing with his action figures and care will be provided inside his home, he is very independent, no diaper, can bathe himself, in the past had behaviors such as yelling and breaking a window. This client is located at Drew Street, Clearwater Florida.
Schedule is for the 2nd caregiver which can work between 8-10 hours a day. The open days are: Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to disabled individuals in their own homes. This includes helping with activities of daily living, such as encouraging healthy meal options, drinking more water, supporting frequent exercise. Other tasks are; reminders and assistance bathing/dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing companionship. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of empathy and be able to provide reliable care and support to clients.
Other clients:
- Female client in Palm Harbor/Clearwater with special needs, would like companionship to help her clean her bedroom which she shares with her sister. Reminders to wash clothes and do her chores, and other personal supports as needed. For Life skills, having a companion to go into the community 12 hrs/week, M-F after 4pm, or anytime S/Sun
- Jen, Female client in Countryside, Clearwater with special needs, EASY Life skills learning about socializing, budgeting and to go into the community. Caregiver to help her organize her bedroom, she's in school M-F during day schedule after 3:30pm, Sat after 3:30pm or anytime Sun. 12 hrs/week Flexible!
- Tanner, Younger male adult in Zephyrhills, likes arts & crafts, help with making his bed daily and toiletry. Sundays 8hour shifts.
- Nate, Young male Wesley Chapel hiring younger female caregivers, creative a plus, flexible schedule, can work around college classes or 12p-6p.
- Donovan, 30's male with autism in Port Richey closely US 19 Fox Hollow, very independent, enjoys science experiments, going on walks at parks and loves gardening. FLEXIBLE schedule 20 hour/week Guaranteed hours and nice opportunity for the right person that matches his personality.
- Gary, older male lives in ALF St Petersburg, Needs care at home 10am-2pm
- TWO Twins In Palm Harbor, FL need help organizing items, learning how to brush hair, help with their adorable new service dogs (hypoallergenic) 16 hrs/week We have been working 4 days on Weekdays Monday-Friday 4:00-8:00pm or could work weekends
- Meet our buddy, "Lisa". She is close to her 50th birthday but looks like she's 30 ;) Lisa is about 300lbs and recovering from a femar surgery. She is great at following simple instructions and can turn, move, etc when asked. Turning her, changing her diaper, sponge bath and overall companionship.

- Qualifications - PLEASE TELL US YOU HAVE WORKED FOR AN APD AGENCY BEFORE, IT WILL SAVE PAPERWORK & TIME IF YOU DID COURSES ON TRAIN.ORG We use Iconnect APD Iconnect Cyber Ark Identity for clocking in and out.
- Experience
- If you’ve had a job or experience in a position similar to this with special needs children or adults, APD, or elderly, that's a Plus! Otherwise, we will GLADLY train you.
If you have a LEVEL 2 DCF background screening/fingerprints, CPR or First Aid - These are mandatory once you begin with us :)
If you have experience cooking, cleaning or caring for others, that’s a bonus!
Characteristics – This is an autonomous position, so we’re looking for individuals that are self-motivated and willing to learn through experience and receiving feedback
Responsibilities
As a caregiver at GIA FFF LLC, you'll provide ONLY 1:1 care in the comfort of THEIR HOME! Many times, the family is home to help and provide support!
Your goal will be to help disabled individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions; meal prep, light exercise, may include local transportation, social interactions and housekeeping along with ADL's.You will document their progress by completing weekly service logs.
Pay-We are proud to say we do not hold back any weeks, you can get paid the very first week you work upon request. We pay staff bi-weekly on Fridays!

Responsibilities - First is keeping our clients safe and comfortable in their home Preparing snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your time with them. Encouraging light exercise (walks, bikes, swims, stretches) to keep the client active and physically moving. Tidying up the house and helping with basic housekeeping tasks that keep the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client.
