Provides support by producing digital imaging photography services for the New York Laboratory report production, by performing the following duties

- Photograph gemstones for report production.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures for digital imaging.
- Apply strict adherence to all security measures and procedures when handling gems.
- Communicates effectively, gets along with coworkers and management, and deals with others effectively and professionally under pressure.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must possess technical photography knowledge and skills.
- Understanding of photography composition, visual balance and consistency.
- Knowledge and use of image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Camera Raw and Bridge.
- Knowledge of basic lighting principles, lighting manipulation and concepts
- Knowledge of color terminology and concepts
- Excellent organizational and planning, efficient communication and problem solving skills.
- High standards of quality control, workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to think through processes, asks questions, and communicate expectations.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Photography major preferred.
