What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Advisor position at Giambalvo Kia?
Jack Giambalvo Motor Company is now hiring a full time Experienced Service Advisor for our New Giambalvo Kia location. Our Service Advisors are responsible for creating positive service experiences for our customers by:
- Greeting customers in a timely, friendly manner.
- Handling telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
- Coordinating service orders with technicians.
- Advising customers on estimated service costs, completion timeframes, and any potential changes.
- Suggesting appropriate additional services to customers.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or the equivalent. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Prior experience in an automotive advisor position required. General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations helpful. Professional personal appearance. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills--ability to be trained on dealership computer systems.
