Description
The Associate Director of Nursing is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of PRTF/Main Campus medical services, documentation/charting of client records and assisting in supervision of Medical Services staffing operations when designated.

Ensure that the institution’s medical services provided operate in compliance with all rules and regulations of the State Department of Health and the State Department of Family and Children Services.

Ensure the department’s compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Participate when designated in the selection, hiring, and orientation process for all staff in your area of responsibility.

Directly supervise the medical services provided, documentation/charting and assist in the supervision of Medical Services, licensed nurses, and medical assistants.

Provide leadership and direction to staff through daily supervision, on-going training, and regularly scheduled meetings.

Assist in preparing staff schedules and monitor staff attendance.

Assist in the coordination of all necessary medical, dental, visual, and psychiatric appointments and prepare medical reports as needed.

Manage the dispensing of prescribed client medication and the maintenance of client records.

Maintain the physical condition of facilities in your area of responsibility.

Take regular inventory or own emotional well-being. Develop and adhere to a self-care plan to promote wellness and prevent burnout.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Completed nursing degree from accredited nursing program and current Indiana nursing license required. Prefer at least 3-5 years of experience in the psychiatric mental health field and 2-4 years of supervisory experience
- At least 21 years old
- Valid drivers license
- Consent to preemployment background checks
Salary : $85,000
