We are seeking a dedicated and energetic food runner/busser and/or barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities Food Runner/Busser
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Support waitstaff by bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
Responsibilities: Barback
- Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout the shift.
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after service.
- Clean and maintain bar areas, including wiping surfaces, organizing supplies, and removing trash.
- Refill kegs, soda systems, and ice bins as needed.
- Retrieve and wash glassware and restock clean glassware.
- Support bartenders in preparing garnishes and organizing bar supplies.
- Assist in receiving and organizing beverage deliveries.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Occasionally help with guest service, such as delivering drinks or collecting empty glassware.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen workflow and customer service standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen and dining areas.
