As a Business Development Representative at Gideon Safety, you’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint across the oil and gas industry by building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and representing our safety solutions with professionalism and integrity. This field-forward role requires a proactive mindset, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
You will serve as the face of Gideon Safety at the wellsite level, meeting with customer reps, gathering real-time feedback, and ensuring our safety services are executed to the highest standard. Whether nurturing existing accounts or opening doors to new partnerships, you’ll be a vital part of our mission to protect lives and elevate safety performance across the Permian & Delaware Basin
Key Responsibilities & Client Development & Field Engagement
- Conduct on-site visits with current and prospective clients at wellsites, offices, and yards.
- Build relationships with customer representatives, third-party vendors, and internal team members.
- Deliver responsive customer service and ensure a consistent Gideon Safety presence in the field.
- Support onboarding of new accounts and manage smaller clients with growth potential.
- Gather customer feedback and field intelligence to inform account strategies
Sales Support & Growth Strategy
- Assist Business Development leadership in executing the regional sales plan.
- Maintain regular communication and update CRM records (calls, emails, visits).
- Help identify dormant accounts and re-engage them with Gideon Safety services.
- Support preparation of proposals, client presentations, and MSA submissions.
- Collaborate with Operations to understand service capabilities and job execution.
Qualifications & Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or the oil & gas industry.

Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel regionally and adapt to flexible hours based on industry needs
