In-Store Purchaser

GiftCash connects buyers with sellers through its proprietary app and unique purchasing model to get products that customers buy online delivered to their door. We are seeking a reliable and flexible In-Store Purchaser to join our team on a contracted, on-demand basis. As an In-Store Purchaser, you will be responsible for visiting stores, purchasing assigned products, and delivering them to a designated local destination within the same day. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to respond to purchasing needs, sometimes on short notice.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

1. Product Purchasing - visit assigned stores to purchase a list of products assigned to you
2. Timely Delivery - transport purchased products to the designated destination on the same day
3. Communication - promptly report any issues encountered (ex. out of stock items) to your manager and proactively communicate delays or issues encountered
4. Creative Problem-Solving - resolve issues and keep things running smoothly without cutting corners or sacrificing integrity
5. Relationship Management - have positive, professional interactions with retail management and staff while under deadlines
6. Flexibility - available to make purchases and deliveries as required while accommodating any urgent same-day requests.

Purchasers must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Flexible, adaptable schedule; available for on-demand work and ability to accommodate same-day requests, when needed
2. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with store managers and associates
3. Strong organizational and time management skills
4. Able to lift up to 50-70 lbs. and walk throughout the day.
