Summary
The Director, Client Success for Life Sciences accounts is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for managing and growing relationships with Gifthealth’s most significant Life Science partners. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for our largest accounts, ensuring the seamless execution of contracts, strategic alignment, and operational excellence. Success in this role requires extensive pharmaceutical industry experience, deep expertise in account management, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strong partnerships.
Responsibilities
Account & Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for Gifthealth’s largest life sciences and pharmaceutical accounts, ensuring long-term strategic alignment and success.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, commercial teams, market access, and supply chain stakeholders within the client organization.
- Act as the liaison between Gifthealth and the client, ensuring timely communication, problem resolution, and seamless collaboration.
- Strategic Growth & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand partnership opportunities.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the client organization.
- Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring mutual profitability and compliance.
Operational Excellence & Execution:
- Work closely with internal teams—including business development, marketing, product, legal, technology, operations, and finance—to ensure contract fulfillment and operational success.
- Track and report on key account metrics, revenue performance, and market trends to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize fulfillment and distribution models.
Client Advocacy & Industry Expertise:
- Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights to both Gifthealth and the client.
- Advocate internally for client needs, providing feedback to product and operational teams to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry account management, business development, or commercial partnerships.
Deep knowledge of pharma market dynamics, commercialization, reimbursement models, and distribution.
Experience managing high-value, complex pharmaceutical accounts with direct client engagement.
Strong track record of driving revenue growth and successfully negotiating large-scale contracts.
