Job Opening - Administrative Assistant
Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One is seeking a dynamic and experienced Administrative Assistant, who will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to an assigned Deputy Chief, it’s divisions and programs. Tasks may include scheduling, research, data collection, reporting, developing promotional materials, answering phones, assisting with community requests and questions and coordinating programs.
Refer to the job description posted on the website for additional information. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, onsite position. Anticipated start date is March 1, 2025.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of administrative assistance experience in a professional setting.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Software.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
- Candidates must be tobacco and marijuana free at time of testing.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid Washington State Driver License and acceptable driving record.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Pre-employment screening to include driver license, education & reference verification, driving abstract, background check, drug testing and computer software program skills testing.
