What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant to CEO position at Giggs?
About Us
Giggs is a fast-growing startup redefining how professionals in the live event and music industries find work. Founded by a touring pro turned tech founder, we’re building the career platform this industry deserves. We’re now looking for a highly organized, proactive, and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support our Founder & CEO in scaling the company.
The Role
This isn’t your typical assistant gig. One day you might be scheduling travel for investor meetings, the next helping prep a podcast shoot, and the next backstage at a concert. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love learning new things, and are excited by the creativity of startup life — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the right hand to the CEO — helping manage her calendar, inbox, priorities, and to-do lists
- Schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Help prep for investor meetings, team offsites, and conferences
- Support content creation — coordinate podcast logistics, help manage project timelines for marketing campaigns, etc.
- Help disseminate key information between departments (tech, marketing, sales, etc.)
- Take ownership of small projects and follow-ups that free up the CEO’s time
- Be ready to roll up your sleeves and handle whatever needs to get done — no task is too big or too small
Who You Are:
- Must be Nashville-Based
- You’re organized to a fault, and you love making someone else’s life run more smoothly
- You’re tech-savvy, a quick learner, and you can juggle multiple tools (think: Slack, GSuite, Superhuman, Framer, etc.)
- You thrive in environments where priorities shift and no two days look the same
- You’re a proactive communicator, anticipate needs, and take initiative
- You love music, live events, or start-ups (bonus points if you love all three)
- You’re not afraid to be in the room with high-level execs, artists, or crew — but you’re also down to help with the unglamorous stuff too
- You want a front-row seat to how a company is built
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Previous experience supporting a founder, C-suite exec, or fast-paced leader
- Startup or entertainment industry experience
- Familiarity with podcast production, event coordination, or basic project management
What You Get:
- A chance to work closely with a Forbes 30 Under 30 founder and help shape the future of a growing company
- Exposure to top players in the music, tech, and live event world
- A dynamic, passionate, mission-driven, Nashville-based team
- Occasional travel to conferences, podcasts, and music events
- Competitive compensation based on experience
