What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cupcake Decorator / Guest Specialist (Evenings/Weekends) position at Gigi's Cupcakes?
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties and task may be assigned):
- Ensure guest satisfaction through adhering to Gigi’s Baking and Customer Service Standards
- Assist guests with questions - including, but not limited to: ingredients, cupcake selection, special orders and check-out process
- Money handling and customer service. Always bringing that WOW factor assisting guests in our storefront
- Responsible for production/decorating of Gigi’s products including cupcakes, cheesecakes and cookies
- Responsible for managing kitchen waste and variances
- Responsible for washing dishes and maintaining overall store cleanliness
- Must be on time for scheduled for shift and dressed in proper uniform
Requirements and Skills Needed:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with peers, customers, and management
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems before they happen and as they happen
- Must be able to use reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Must be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
- Must be flexible with a can do attitude and have the ability to remain professional during all situations
- Must have the ability to retain and protect confidential material
- Must be willing to be crossed trained on all positions including customer service, decorating and possibly baking
- Must have reliable transportation
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
