Network Architect and Administrator
Gila River Health Care Corp is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect and Administrator to design, implement, and maintain a high-performing, fault-tolerant, and secure network infrastructure across multiple locations.
This individual will conduct daily network administration on client computing infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, servers, virtual machines, storage systems, and telephony equipment.
Evaluating and coordinating solutions and configurations with all internal business units to support projects is a critical aspect of this role.
The successful candidate will review network requirements, develop plans, and implement network system services and infrastructure to support all organization operations.
Critical Tasks:
- Technical Analysis: Analyzes technology and business needs to make informed recommendations.
- Secure System Design: Architects systems that are secure, sustainable, and meet the current and future needs of the organization.
- Troubleshooting and Escalation: Solves complex technology problems and acts as escalation for problem troubleshooting.
- Training and Guidance: Provides training and guidance on infrastructure solutions and related topics to internal IT staff and end users.
- Project Management: Leads and guides projects and initiatives through the implementation lifecycle and aids in support activities; maintains project documentation, timelines, deadlines, and reporting.
- LAN/WAN Equipment Maintenance: Designs, analyzes, maintains, and implements LAN/WAN equipment, network, and telephony infrastructure, including maintenance of security measures and solutions.
- Network Administration: Performs administration on all supported networks, systems, platforms, and data storage/SAN.
- Cisco Networking Administration: Administers Cisco networking, UCS, telephony, email security, and firewall solutions.
- Virtualization Solutions Administration: Administers virtualization solutions, such as VMware ESXi and Citrix VDI.
- Hyper-Converged Infrastructure Administration: Administers hyper-converged infrastructure solutions, such as Nutanix.
- Active Directory and Group Policy Administration: Provides the highest level of administration and knowledge on Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft SQL installation and configuration, as well as PowerShell and like scripting methodologies.
- Mobile Device Management: Plans and deploys mobile device management projects.
- Network Diagrams: Documents physical and logical diagrams of network architecture using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
- Additional Responsibilities: Performs other job-related activities as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or a closely related field required.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in systems administration or network management required.
- Cultural Competence: Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
