We are seeking a Director of Information Technology (Director II) who will lead the company’s approach to technology evolution to enable Gilbane’s business strategy. The centerpiece of these efforts will result in a cloud-based, service-oriented platform encapsulating corporate applications, enterprise integration services, infrastructure, technology service operations and collaboration architecture to enable the future of construction and real estate development. The Corporate Headquarters location in Providence is preferred, but candidates in other Gilbane locations will also be considered.

- Ensure cybersecurity standards compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
- Manage strategic supplier performance and technology due diligence for acquisitions.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- 15 years in technology, with multi-industry experience preferred.
- Recent hands-on development experience, acting as a player-coach.
- Proven leadership in driving large-scale, customer-facing technology transformations.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
- Expertise in platform-centric technology organizations and public cloud migrations.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical domain or equivalent work experience.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and business management skills.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of multiple technologies, architectural styles, design patterns, and development methodologies.
- Recent experience with modern IAM solutions.
- Security architecture and engineering experience.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. The base salary can range from $214,000-$294,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
