Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Experience with labor relations and collective bargaining agreement preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For Washington, DC, this ranges from $65,000.00 - $89,000.00 which includes an excellent benefits and retirement package.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and maintains verified training documents in compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications
- Successfully recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions per policy; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Facilitates the employee experience throughout the onboarding process
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications, including vaccination and additional health requirements identified
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to talent acquisition and recruiting; productivity and staffing; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Supports employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed
- Maintains compliance with all Department of Health, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
