Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial/Organizational Psychology, Economics, HR Analytics, Human Resource Management; Master’s or PhD Preferred
- 5 years practical experience with data processing, programming and/or analytics
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Storytelling with data to Executive audiences
- Business acumen and business problem solving skills
- Ability to query SQL Databases and apply best practices in data pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis (e.g. T-test, regression, ANOVA)
- Experience with statistical software/languages such as R, Python, Microsoft Azure cloud computing or other programs preferred
- Strategic thinking skills – seeing the big picture, clarifying strategic objectives, identifying relations, patterns and trends, thinking creatively, analyzing information, and prioritizing actions
- Ability to understand various data structures and produce data visualizations
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For Providence, RI this ranges from $115,000.00 - $157,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For Boston, MA and Arlington, VA this ranges from $127,000.00 - $175,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.

Responsibilities:
- Answer business questions “end to end” by translating business questions into ones answered with a breadth of advanced analytic techniques (statistics, causal inference, natural experiments etc.), create and present the business story back to business leaders with minimal supervision from Analytics Team.
- Preparation, maintenance, and delivery of HR dashboarding assets that meet the needs of the customers as defined in the needs analysis through Microstrategy and PowerBI.
- Regularly interact with non-technical stakeholders to deliver analyses and answer questions on deliverables.
- Execute on various aspects of the people analytics strategy using exploratory data analysis and developing or maintaining predictive models for turnover, recruiting, employee performance, compensation, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, HR operations, and employee engagement.
- Coordinate with HR and Business partners on needs analysis, data collection, prioritization, training, and support.
- Coordinate with HRIS and technology partners on data mining and collection utilizing SQL, R, Python, Excel, Microstrategy, PowerBI and other tools for analysis and presentation. Data cleaning, joining, restructuring etc.
- Desire to learn and apply new data science techniques.
- Experience with data pipelines, process automation, or model deployment a plus.
