About You:
Candidates for the Forensic Services Supervisor must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Forensic Science (Criminalistics); Biology; Biochemistry; Chemistry; or a closely related field of study.
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience performing crime scene processing, latent print comparisons, or working as a Criminalist or Forensic Scientist in a laboratory actively engaged in the forensic sciences preferred.
- Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver's License by date of hire.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Automated Fingerprint Identification System certification within 12 months.
- Must be court-qualified as an expert witness.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of the information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph is required.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
Salary : $42 - $63
