We are seeking a Front Desk Specialist to join our team! As a Front Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for greeting patients who come in the door, checking them in, and pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. Responsibilities
- Greet patients as they arrive and provide an excellent patient experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Assist patients with paperwork, including consent forms, verify insurance, collect and post payments
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Administrative functions that include but are not limited to data entry, photocopying, faxing and obtaining records, sending referrals, ordering supplies, filing, daily appointment prepping
- Assist with patient treatments as needed
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Work well with a team
- Familiar with computers, computer programs and scheduling
