Overview
Gilchrist Safety Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Site Safety Professional for an 18 month full-time, temporary contract position to oversee safety management for an industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical construction project in the Fredericksburg, PA area.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1926 and implement EHS policies.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain safety standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to foster a positive safety culture.
- Prepare safety performance reports for management.
- Provide expertise in metal framing and vertical construction safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety management experience.
- OSHA 510 Certification (CHST preferred).
- Proficiency in managing large construction projects with multiple subcontractors.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law, occupational health, and environmental regulations.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence effectively.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
