The opportunity:
The Temporary Planning Analyst will be responsible for following up on critical sales deliveries for wholesale, private label, market specific and direct shipments, as well as providing Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs) for all Comfort Colours and American Apparel orders. The Analyst will interact with the Production and Planning Departments to reconcile processes based on work orders sent to production. The position sits within the Planning Department, reporting directly to the Manager, Planning.
The role
- Develop, update and analyse reports for Comfort Colors, American Apparel and other brands as required.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Inventory Control and Manufacturing Departments to process sales demand and to coordinate processes that will simplify the analysis of information systems.
- Assist with the standardization of the reporting process for all brands.
- Support the planning team through the use of information system analysis.
- Perform market analyses and determine customer/sales demands.
The requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a related field.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive in resolving any issues encountered.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
