The opportunity The opportunity The primary job function is having the ability to perform all jobs within the plant except for maintenance. Position reports to Shift Supervisor. The role Operator Card machines which fills cans with stock/sliver. Perform preventative maintenance on machines daily. Load full cans of stock onto tugger trailers and transport to spinning frames. Load empty cans onto trailers and return cans to Drawing. Operate spinning frames which places yarn on tubes. Make sure that frames have adequate supplies such as wax, tubes and cans of sliver. Help to recycle waste. Remove packages from spinning frames and place on pallet for shipping. Sweep spinning area to keep free of debris, empty waste hopper. Help to recycle waste.
