Due to growth, Gilero is offering an IT System Support Specialist position in our fast-paced medical device design & manufacturing firm. This position will offer exposure to a variety of on-premises and cloud systems used to support the design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices that extend and improve the quality of human life.
The ideal candidate will provide prompt support for technical requests from internal manufacturing, administrative, software developers, and mechanical engineering staff. Common requests will include the setup of new accounts and workstations, software installations, and troubleshooting for application or system connectivity problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision accounts for new hires and adjust access rights.
- Assist users with credentials including assignment of identity verification tokens.
- Troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues with end-user workstations.
- Provide basic support for network connectivity challenges, including remote troubleshooting for remote workers and different office locations.
- Assist employees and guests with AV systems in conference rooms.
- Deploy software and updates to end-user workstations and servers.
- Write training materials for employees.
- Assist the IT Manager and Quality department in updating internal procedures and documentation.
- Manage IT equipment inventory and verify software license compliance.
- Monitor system logs and backups.
