Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate parts accurately.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring all parts fit together correctly.
- Operate milling machines and other factory equipment as needed for production tasks.
- Conduct inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting designs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation in CNC machinery is a plus.
- Experience with tooling setup and adjustments for various machining operations is beneficial.
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
