We have recently expanded into the Metro Detroit area and are seeking a Part-time or a part-time possibly leading to Full-time - Business Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities outside of our current client base through a consultative sales process. Working out of our Novi, Michigan location; you will be provided with the needed technology and guidance to succeed and will be working both in-office as well as in the field throughout the metro Detroit area.
Responsibilities:
· Qualify potential business opportunities and contact key decision makers via in-person visits, phone calls and emails.
· Manage sales pipeline to hit daily and weekly activity targets of 100 per week.
· Leverage tools and resources such as CRM, special events, and social media to advance next steps in the prospecting relationship.
· Maintain and update CRM to hit daily and weekly projections.
· Utilize consultative sales skills to ensure all prospects are followed up in a timely fashion.
· Implement creative strategies that help us stand out from the competition resulting in the achievement of individual and market sales goals.
· Achieve weekly, monthly and yearly sales targets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent verifiable work experience
· Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
· Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
· Previous experience in customer retention strategies.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to help you manage daily goals.
· Proficient with CRM functions, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
· Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Possess a willingness wear many hats, work as a team, and do what it takes to get the job done!
We offer a competitive compensation package with a base salary plus performance-based commissions. Total earnings range from $50,000 to $100,000 annually in a full time role, depending on sales performance. Some commissions are residual, providing long-term earning potential for sustained success.
