OUR SCHOOL

Gilman School is a pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade private independent day school for boys. Set on a 57-acre campus in the northern part of Baltimore City, Gilman serves roughly 1,000 students in three divisions. The School has a full-time faculty of nearly 140, and the average class size is 16 students.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Teach two sections of 11th-grade English. 

• Collaborate with colleagues in curricular choices and assessment design.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• The ability to inspire and build relationships with your students.

• The willingness to grow as an educator.

• The desire to connect with students outside of formal classroom interactions.

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in English or a related major.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: 

The compensation for this role will be $200 per day. This role is not benefit-eligible.
