Groundskeeper Technician (Part-Time)

**This is a Part-Time Position**

General Nature of Work
The purpose of Groundskeeper Technician is to perform manual and unskilled work for the maintenance of the course. The employee will prepare and maintain golf course greens, fairways, and other golf course surfaces as required, ensuring compliance with all golfing regulations and standards. The work is physical in nature and under the direct supervision of the Golf Course Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains golf course, including bunkers, greens, driving range, and tee boxes; mows bunker faces; prunes trees.
• Maintains golf course, including mowing, weed eating, and other various landscaping duties.
• Assists in special construction projects as required.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

• Aids other employees or departments as needed.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Materials Utilization: Requires the ability to operate, maneuver and/or control the actions of equipment, machinery, tools, and/or materials used in performing essential functions. Ability to drive a golf cart.

• Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. May include counting, recording of counts, and basic measuring.
• Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Involves semi-routine standardized work.
• Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise minimal judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving a variety of pre-defined duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia drivers license.
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
