What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Analyst position at Gilson Company, Inc.?

Gilson Company, Inc. is currently looking for a friendly and energetic Pricing Analyst who specializes in pricing to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who excels at item pricing, margins, resourcing materials, global supply chain trends, costs and discounts while focusing on attention to details. Someone who is reliable and professional and enjoys a casual, family owned, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

· Analyzing and recommending pricing strategies

· Prepare reports and articulate recommendations

· Analyze Gilson’s market position on items and item groups

· Monitor competitor pricing strategies and adjust accordingly

· Respond promptly to pricing inquiries

· Maintain accurate and consistent pricing throughout all company channels

· Complete projects assigned by manager

· Proactively review and maintain established reason coded and pricing margins

· Seeking opportunities to grow the Gilson brand while researching competitors

· Collaborating with other internal departments for ways to control costs with regard to pricing

Qualifications:

Knowledge of material testing equipment
An overall knowledge of pricing
Ability to complete assignments correctly and on time
Detail oriented
NetSuite experience a plus
