Overview
We are a leading civil engineering and land surveying firm based in Draper, Utah, specializing in providing professional survey and mapping services for a variety of industries, including construction, environmental, land development, and government. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Survey Office Operations/Drafter to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Prepare layouts for construction projects, ensuring all necessary details are included for implementation.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
- Assist in the development of project documentation and reports as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques, including the ability to solve complex problems.
- Organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- A degree or certification in Drafting Technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
