We are currently hiring for full time Customer Service Representatives to work 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday thru Friday.

Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) with strong communication skills and a passion for providing quality service to our customers. Customer service is our number one priority at Gilton. Our CSRs play a significant role in delivering superior service through thoughtful relationship building and effective and efficient responses to our customers’ concerns and requests. Our CSRs are in continual contact with our team of drivers to ensure that customer needs are met.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) are to answer incoming calls as they are presented, identify needs and resolve customer requests, which includes but is not limited to: assisting with customer transactions, answering general questions or inquiries, providing product information, troubleshooting and researching customer concerns, and directing calls to the appropriate departments. This role delights our customers with the highest level of service available in an efficient and courteous manner while striving for a first call resolution. Key duties will include:

  • Answer incoming calls, properly verify caller and determine the caller’s needs in an effort to resolve their request in an efficient manner.
  • Identify products/services that are beneficial to customers and provide information about the added value these additional services offer.
  • Perform customer transactions with a high level of accuracy, including but not limited to disputes, address changes, over the phone payments, and conduct research as necessary to ensure a one call resolution.
  • Fully understand information and services available on our company website and educate customers on self-serve requests and products such as Online Service Requests and Bill Pay Services.

LOCATION: OAKDALE, CA

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle calls of heavy volume (50-100 per day), including documentation and resolution.
  • Produces work that is accurate and complete.

  • Knows the most effective and efficient process to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Interpersonal skills - interacts effectively with individuals both inside and outside of Gilton; relates openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.

  • Time management and organizational skills. Uses time effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to navigate computer programs and resources simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with appropriate discretion.
  • Ability to speak and be understood in English.
  • High school diploma or general education degree.

Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit for prolonged periods; repetitive motion of hands/wrists/fingers; concentrate and repeat the same physical activities over and over.
