Starting Pay: $13.75/hour | No Weekends | No Federal Holidays | Maximum 40 Hours per Week

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Floor Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure our daycare center maintains its high standards of care, education, and safety. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a nurturing environment for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Supervision: Oversee and support teaching and support staff to ensure quality care and education.
• Operational Excellence: Manage schedules, staffing levels, and resources for smooth daily operations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure a secure environment by adhering to all safety protocols and licensing regulations.
• Parent Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress, addressing concerns, and providing troubleshooting support.
• Curriculum Oversight: Ensure staff effectively implement lesson plans and educational activities.
• Brightwheel Management: Oversee and support staff in using the Brightwheel platform for attendance, communication, and daily updates.
• Customer-Facing Leadership: Be the welcoming face of the daycare during opening or closing shifts, setting a positive tone for parents and staff.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve concerns among staff, parents, or children, fostering a respectful and professional atmosphere.
• Training & Development: Identify staff training needs and collaborate with management to implement professional development opportunities.
• Resource Management: Maintain and monitor inventory of supplies and learning materials to support a well-equipped environment.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency procedures to ensure safety in unforeseen situations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational enhancements for quality improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in early childhood education.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of daycare licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• Weekends as needed
