Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Part-Time Floor Tech (4:00PM-9:00PM; M-F and every other weekend) to support our Environmental Services Department. The Floor Technician works in accordance with established policies and procedures and/ or specific instructions from the Director of Environmental Services or Floor Technician Supervisor. Maintains all floor areas and sustains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform daily maintenance of assigned areas of responsibility.
- Develop and apply effective methods and procedures.
- Completion of all project work.
- Perform floor and carpet maintenance in designated areas.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Follow approved Infection Control procedures.
- Follow proper sanitation guidelines with regard to isolation and terminal cleaning procedures where required.
- Arrange special functions as designated by the Director of Environmental Services; when applicable, perform clean up.
- Utilize Department Communications Log to communicate to daytime operations an ongoing review of evening events.
- Assist with quarterly inventories, supply procurement and inform Director of supply needs for residential, Health Center, and common areas.
- Demonstrate compliance with safety regulations to ensure the current established methods and procedures are followed.
- Maintain the supply storage area in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Respond to all Environmental Services calls and Health Center service requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in floor maintenance preferred.
- Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe.
- Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and be tactful in dealing with others.

Salary : $18 - $20
