Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Residential and Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and be adept at navigating complex legal issues related to real estate .This role involves providing legal guidance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, real estate professionals and other legal professionals.
Duties
- Provide legal advice on various aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
- Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on properties to identify potential legal issues or risks.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial real estate.
- Conduct real estate transactions, balance settlement sheets, negotiate last minute issues at the table.
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents and mortgage brokers.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Delaware.
- Proven experience in real estate law or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures, however litigation is not a requirement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think on your feet.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
