Job Description
As a Process Technician at Giovanni Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring all batches meet our high food safety and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for verifying ingredients and recipe accuracy, cooking with precision, maintaining quality control, following safety protocols, and leading a team of Process Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Verify ingredients and recipe accuracy to ensure product quality
- Cook ingredients to exact specifications using advanced techniques such as sautéing
- Maintain quality control by performing process checks and documenting each batch
- Follow safety protocols and demonstrate understanding of HACCP, GMP's, SSOP's, and plant safety policies
- Lead a team of Process Assistants, assign tasks, and cross-train team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Basic math skills for ingredient measurements and recipe accuracy
- Leadership potential with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
