We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Lathe Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining production quality and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes to manufacture parts as per engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Perform CAM programming to set up machines for production runs.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with assembly line teams to package and prepare products for shipment.
- Utilize stamping presses and milling machines as needed for various tasks.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
- Assemble components and perform welding tasks as required in the production process.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of CAM programming and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes, packaging, stamping presses, and milling machines.
- Ability to operate Fanuc controls and other CNC machinery effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
