This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role that will have a lasting impact on the future of our regional service model. As a Regional Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving meaningful change within the region, fostering collaboration across regions, and contributing to the long-term success of the organization. Working closely with Provincial Commissioners, senior volunteers, and staff teams, you'll help create operational and strategic support that enables our volunteers to focus on delivering exceptional experiences. From enhancing financial oversight to refining service delivery models, you’ll bring people together to solve challenges and shape a more efficient, scalable, and sustainable future for our organization.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Director, Business Services, in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing business service functions within a designated region, ensuring seamless coordination between national and regional teams. You will drive strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and financial oversight while ensuring alignment with both provincial and national priorities. This role works in true partnership with Provincial Commissioners, senior volunteers, and staff to enhance service delivery, strengthen council operations, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that supports members.

This Role Will Focus On

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Build strong, trust-based partnerships with Provincial Commissioners, senior volunteers, and staff to ensure that all levels of the organization work together cohesively.
  • Serve as a key connector between national and regional teams, ensuring alignment in priorities.
  • Facilitate seamless coordination and communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Drive cross-regional collaboration, ensuring that best practices, insights, and innovations are shared and implemented effectively.
  • Partner with volunteer and staff teams to support the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring that regional needs and perspectives are well-represented in decision-making.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external community partners, exploring opportunities for collaboration that enhance regional support and strengthen local engagement.
  • Ensure that volunteers and staff receive timely, coordinated support by fostering a culture of open communication and shared problem-solving.

Leadership & Strategic Alignment

  • Align regional operations with national and provincial priorities, ensuring consistent service delivery and member support.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and scalability within the region.
  • Support provinces in aligning operational goals with strategic priorities, ensuring measurable progress and impactful outcomes.
  • Represent the region on cross-functional projects, advocating for local needs while ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Support the planning and delivery of provincial projects and activities that support strategic goals.

Operational & Financial Management

  • Support Provincial Commissioners and Provincial Treasurers in budget development, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Partner with the finance team to enhance financial processes, supporting initiatives that improve financial structure, reporting, and budget management within the region.
  • In partnership with the PC(s), oversee council operations, ensuring that meetings are well-planned, effectively executed, and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Provide both logistical and strategic support to councils, ensuring they have the information, resources, and financial oversight needed to operate effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with not-for-profit regulations and donor requirements, working closely with finance and fundraising teams to maintain transparency and uphold fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Ensure processes are well-documented, standardized where appropriate, and accessible for knowledge sharing across regions.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to optimize service delivery while balancing standardization with regional flexibility.

Driving Continuous Improvement & Scalability

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying innovative solutions and piloting scalable service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that streamline operations and enhance support structures.
  • Ensure that staffing and resources are effectively structured to meet current needs while planning for future scalability.

You Are The Ideal Candidate If You Have

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations, volunteer management, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
  • Degree in business administration, nonprofit management, public administration, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience managing budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and driving operational improvements.
  • Familiarity with regional governance structures.

Assets Include

  • Experience engaging and supporting volunteers is considered an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge of Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada is considered an asset.

Hiring Range: $91,269 to 98,114 / Annually

  • Salary will be based on scale and complexity of operations within the region.

This position will remain open until it is filled. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
