Job Description:
As a Sleep Away Porter at Girl Scouts of Connecticut Inc, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and wellbeing of campers in accordance with state regulations, ACA Standards, and GSOFCT policies. You will work closely with the Camp Director to ensure a clean and safe environment throughout the camp.

As a Sleep Away Porter at Girl Scouts of Connecticut Inc, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and wellbeing of campers in accordance with state regulations, ACA Standards, and GSOFCT policies. You will work closely with the Camp Director to ensure a clean and safe environment throughout the camp.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cleanliness of the camp lodge, program areas, and bathroom/shower facilities
- Maintain sanitary conditions by cleaning toilets, sanitizing sinks and floors regularly
- Assist with cleaning the kitchen and dining hall
- Responsible for moving luggage on incoming and outgoing days
- Report needed repairs to the Camp Director
Requirements:
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to climb stairs, walk over uneven terrain, and work in extreme environmental conditions
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Calculate dilution ratios for cleaning chemicals
- Independent work and communication skills
