Waterfront Director Position
This is a seasonal, residential position that oversees all activities, staff, and operations at the waterfront areas of our summer camp.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct waterfront activities during resident summer camp
- Enforce all safety guidelines, rules, and emergency procedures
- Participate in general camp activities
- Train and supervise counselors and lifeguard staff
- Plan and coordinate aquatic programs
- Create schedules and rotations for waterfront activities
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all campers
- Monitor camper participation
- Ensure waterfront safety measures are enforced
- Responsible for care and use of all boats, lifesaving equipment, and other supplies
Qualifications:
- Girl Scout Membership required
- Successful completion of background check
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Current Lifeguard Certification
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
This is a 6-week residential position that will run from June 8th - July 18th and includes room and meals for the duration of the summer sessions. Compensation: $650 per week.
