Job Description
As a Summer Aquatics Program Manager at Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Lakota Overnight Camp, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of program facilities and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver an aquatics program that meets the age and ability requirements of our campers, under the direction of the Activities Manager and the Outdoor Program Supervisor.
You will be responsible for evaluating the abilities of campers and staff, ensuring that both groups follow safety and educational procedures, and conducting daily checks on the activity area and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and good repair. Additionally, you will assist counselors with the development of activity kits for use by units and special events.
Our ideal candidate must be 18 years of age or have completed high school by the start of the camp season. Training will be available, and we encourage applicants who are committed to working the entire camp season and attending pre-camp training.
