About the camp
Camp Shantituck is one of our council's most popular and busiest properties. Located on Cedar Creek near Shepherdsville, KY, this 112-acre camp offers a variety of experiences for troops and larger groups. Buildings, platform tent sites, program shelters, picnic shelters, and primitive camping are all available. Shantituck hosts day camp from June through mid-August. The camp is available for troop meetings, activities and troop camping the rest of the year. There is also a central shower house. There is a teams course, a pool, adventure playground, and archery / slingshots.
About the role
Camp Shantituck Day Camps is currently seeking a responsible and attentive lifeguard to ensure a safe and enjoyable summer experience for campers in Shepherdsville, KY. Lifeguards will be responsible for supervising pool activities to prevent accidents, teaching water safety by communicating rules and policies, aiding in emergency situations, and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the pool. Lifeguards will work closely with the Pool Manager throughout June and July, with schedules varying based on program needs. Apply Today!
