Retail Operations Coordinator

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Operations Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing information about Girl Scout merchandise and programming to enhance their shopping experience.

You will maintain accurate records, balance cash drawers, and process cash receipts within council policy guidelines. Additionally, you will assist with inventory controls, physical inventory, and stock management, ensuring that shelves are attractively displayed and merchandise is properly priced.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain accurate records, including OpSuite POS and accounting reports.
• Balance cash drawers, process cash receipts, and complete End-of-Day paperwork according to council policy guidelines.
• Assist with inventory controls, physical inventory, and stock management, ensuring shelves are attractively displayed and merchandise is properly priced.

Schedule and Availability:

You will work variable hours, typically up to 14 hours per week, with most scheduled shifts in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. You may occasionally be required to work mornings or full days for coverage during staff vacations, illnesses, or special events.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and/or related work experience.
• Prior retail, data entry, and customer service experience.
• Computer literacy and technical knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving and project management skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Able to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
