Locations : Camp McCormick, Stillman Valley, IL and Camp Dean, Big Rock, IL. This position is required to live on site.
Duration : Summer – May 27 – August 3, 2025
Salary : $700 Weekly

Reports to : Camp Director
Summary : Camp Medic is responsible for overall health and safety of camp staff and campers during our summer camp program. The expectation is to provide an exciting, fun, and memorable experience for campers and staff. Also responsible for general sanitation and safety practices throughout camp.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in camper check-in process for health screening.
- Administer medication, first aid, and address camper health concerns.
- Take inventory, resupply, and maintain first aid equipment as necessary throughout camp.
- Monitor health of incoming campers, collect health reviews, and is responsible for all medical documentation Notify staff members of health precautions of campers (and staff) when indicated.
- Develop sound relationships with staff, campers, and parents as needed regarding medical care.
- Conduct daily checks of equipment for safety, cleanliness, and inventory.
- Assist in unit housekeeping, sanitation, care of supplies and equipment.
- Assist in supervision of campers to cover for other camp staffs’ breaks.
- Other duties as assigned.
