The leadership development program for girls is based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience model, which allows girls to discover a positive value system and a strong sense of self, connect with others, build healthy relationships, identify causes that are meaningful, and take action to make the world a better place.
GSCV is adding an Administrative Generalist to the dynamic team. The Administrative Generalist serves as administrative and operations support and is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders of the Council. Travel within the Council jurisdiction is required. The Administrative Generalist provides direct support to retail needs across multiple geographic locations and overall support to the Program and Member Services teams including retail, outdoor program, outreach initiatives, product program, volunteer training and engagement, and general office and administrative support. The Administrative Generalist provides support and coverage for the reception area as needed.
Candidate should be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support council operations. Administrative or executive level support experience preferred. Retail experience preferred but not required. Experience working in nonprofit or membership organization a plus. Ability to learn and work quickly with accuracy and consistent follow through, adapt to change, be flexible, and deliver high quality products while working on multiple projects. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
