What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Membership Growth Specialist position at Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains?
The Seasonal Membership Growth Specialist (Recruiter) is a part-time, casual employee who is responsible for successfully implementing recruitment efforts by promoting Girl Scouting through a variety of in-person events throughout VT and NH. They will work to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouts through a variety of in-person events at various community locations within all regions of the Council as assigned. They will interact directly with families and girls, introducing them to the benefits Girl Scouting can offer their girls. They will build excitement within your community about the power of the Girl Scout Leadership experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include adult and girl recruitment, marketing Girl Scouts, capturing leads, hosting an engaging Girl Scout activity for girls and their caregiver/parent, using proven sales techniques to convert leads in support of the council membership goals. All functions are performed collaboratively with council staff and volunteers.
Qualifications
Interest in sales, recruiting, marketing or related field.
· Proven sales experience dealing directly with customers is a plus.
· Supports and believes in the mission of the Girl Scouts.
WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS:
· This is a seasonal part-time position.
· Frequent travel through the Council to accomplish tasks and lead events.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule primarily evenings, with weekend work as the organization needs.
