Photo & Social Media Specialist – Girl Scouts Summer Camp
Love photography and social media? Bring your creative skills to downtown San Diego this summer and capture unforgettable moments at camp!
Where You’ll Be:
Our Day Camp is in downtown San Diego near Balboa Park. It offers a wide range of programming from aquatics to horses to traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, songs, and exploration, and focuses on building girls up, while teaching them a strong sense of self. positive values, challenge seeking, healthy relationships, and community problem solving.
What You’ll Do:
Take stunning photos of campers’ daily activities and ensure all camp photography needs are met.
Manage the camper blog-write activity descriptions, upload photos, and distribute parent updates.
Maintain and organize photo archives, including images for future promotional use.
Oversee camp technology, including photography equipment, laptops, and e-camp software.

Experience and Skills:
What You Need:
At least 18 years old (21 preferred).
Be able to commit to full summer camp dates from June 16 - August 8, 2025
6 months of photography experience or relevant classes.
Familiarity with editing software and Microsoft Word/Excel.
Ability to work with kids and staff of all ages.
