Position: Program Facilitator
Reports To: Center Manager
Supervises: N/A
Job Status: Part Time
Purpose of Job: The Program Facilitator is responsible for planning, delivering, and assisting in the evaluation of Girls Inc. programs, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Center Manager to develop and implement innovative, hands-on activities that support the program’s goals and objectives.
- Facilitate Girls Inc. programs daily, providing guidance, instruction, and motivation to participants.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment that encourages girls to be confident, independent thinkers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by modeling appropriate behavior, assisting with conflict resolution, and addressing safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain and organize program materials, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored after use.
- Accurately record attendance, maintain lesson plans, and submit reports as required.
- Prepare the facility for each session, including organizing supplies and communicating any needs for additional materials or equipment to the supervisor.
- Regularly communicate with the supervisor regarding participant engagement, program effectiveness, and any challenges or needs observed.
- Proactively report concerns, problems, or unusual situations related to activities or participants.
- Participate in self-assessment and performance evaluations to ensure continuous professional growth.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with children in a group setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong group facilitation and youth engagement skills.
- Dedicated to mentoring and uplifting young girls by fostering confidence, leadership, personal growth, and academic development while making a positive impact in their lives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of the developmental needs of girls ages 6–18.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong ability to motivate, inspire, and build rapport with participants.
- Willingness to embrace and implement the Girls Inc. mission, vision, and values in all programming.
- Flexibility to travel to various Girls Inc. program sites in the community as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Huntsville, AL 35810: Relocate before starting work (Required)
