Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets sales / equipment specifications
- Evaluates specifications versus standard specifications to determine if any new design components required
- Develops programs for the control system that are used to interact with the equipment or used by the equipment to interact with the environment
- Updates or produces new standard drawings for use by multiple pieces of equipment
- Assists the Production department when design questions are posed
- Reviews the completed construction with Production department to produce As Built or updated drawings for final record and use in the future
