Job Title: Equipment Operator
Location: Valley Mills, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Generally, Monday-Saturday, OT as needed
Range: $21-$36/hr. (depending on experience)

Position Summary:
· The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery and equipment used in the construction of the solar farm. This includes, but is not limited to, excavators, bulldozers, graders, trenchers, and forklifts, and Pile Drivers (PD10). The role requires a commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency to support the successful completion of the project
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate heavy machinery to perform tasks such as grading, trenching, loading, and backfilling according to project specifications
· Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and reporting any mechanical issues to the maintenance team
· Assist in preparing the site for construction activities, including clearing land, leveling ground, and constructing access roads
· Dig and backfill trenches for cable installations and ensure proper placement of underground utilities
· Transport and distribute construction materials and equipment around the site as required
· Follow all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel
Qualifications:
- Licenses/Certifications:
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment on constructions sites, preferably solar farm sites
· Valid driver’s license and equipment operator certifications for relevant machinery
· (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, etc.)
